The application form for the National Eligibility Test (NET) has not been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) yet and a delay is being expected.
The exam is conducted twice a year, usually in the months of June and December, but since the past one year, it is being conducted in July and January. Last year, the form was released on April 12 for the July exam. This had made the candidates more tensed.
The CBSE conducts NET on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The examination is held for determining the eligibility for a number of posts, Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship across the country. According to a few reports, the notification is expected to be out by June 20.

Central Board of Secondary Education has not released any official update regarding the notification date of CBSE UGC NET July 2017. It is already very late as last year the CBSE UGC NET July 2016 notification was released on April 12, 2016. Now, its June and there is no indication from UGC or CBSE like what will be the exact date of UGC NET Exam 2017 notification release. On approaching the UGC, all the official were in silent mode and not gave any update. From the secondary sources, we are predicting that CBSE UGC NET July 2017 notification likely to be released before June 20, 2017. All the aspirants who are waiting to register themselves for UGC NET should not panic and start their preparation for the exam from today onwards.
It has been predicted that CBSE is making delay in issue of UGC NET notification due to suspension controversy that emerged last month as well protest of students in front of UGC office. Since then, no official update published and candidates are annoyed regarding UGC NET Exam. UGC NET Exam 2017 is held up by CBSE for deciding the eligibility of the candidates who want to opt Lecturership in universities and want to pursue Junior Research Fellowship for further studies. The candidates who will qualify CBSE UGC NET July 2017 will be able to apply for Lecturers of Assistant Professor Job.
It is advised to ensure that for applying for UGC NET 2017, one should possess Master’s degree and have secured a minimum of 55% marks in the University for the post of JRF. Other details of the eligibility criteria can be referred online at cbsenet.nic.in. UGC NET July 2017 Notification will be announced in the first or second week of June. The application process will end in the last week of June. The tentative date of CBSE UGC NET July 2017 exam is July 9. The maximum age limit of UGC NET July 2017 is 28 years (for JRF) and the maximum age limit for Assistant professor is: No Upper Age limit for UGC NET July 2017.
