Assistant Professor Mechanical Engg. recruitment in The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT) on Contract basis
Mechanical Engineering : 01 Robotics / Mechatronics
Essential: (a) BE in Mechanical Engg./Electronics/Computer Engg. and M.Tech/ME with specialisation Robotics / Mechatronics with 55% marks or equivalent Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).
(b) 01(One) year Teaching Experience. *A relaxation of 5% (in marks) will be provided at the Graduate and Masters’ level, for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD categories, for the purpose of eligibility.
Desirable: (a) Teaching, research, industrial and/or professional experience in relevant area in a reputed organization; (b) Papers presented at conference and/or in referred journals. (c) A PhD degree in the relevant area.

Pay Scale : Rs. 62,800/- per month (Consolidated)

The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology, (DIAT) as it is known today, came into being as the Institute of Armament Studies in 1952 in the CME campus. In 1967, the Institute was renamed as ‘Institute of Armament Technology, (IAT)’, which moved to its present location at Girinagar, Pune.
